At this point, an answer can be made.

Maybe?

It depends on how attitudes shift after this. If Republican primary voters gave a damn about debate time limits, Bush would win the nomination in a landslide.

His first couple rounds were pretty good compared to previous efforts, but that last answer (on financial crisis) was awful.

I personally thought this was one of his stronger debate performances, but I don't think its enough to save his campaign. I think he will drop out by December.

I don't understand why anyone is supporting him at this point. I don't see what the attraction is.

I hope so. More establishment candidates means more for Donald Trump.

No.  He outperformed expectations, but that's not saying much at this point

He's kept it alive for now. Not sure he'll be moving up. But at least he's showing signs of life.

He's not an insane lying bigot who wants to start WWIII? Also, he comes across better than Kasich or Paul. And he might actually be able to win the general, unlike most of the rest of them.

Have you only been paying attention to his "aw shucks" attitude? There are few, if any differences he has on policy from the rest of the field. He wants to cut taxes, bomb the rest of the world, and appoint all of his father and brothers same people to wreck everything like they did. Jeb Bush is a lying, insane bigot who wants to start WWIII, he just says it a lot nicer than the other candidates.

Trump is easily the most honest of the group, and he lies ALOT.

Trump, seemed poised and calm, and Jeb was the attack dog. But, he is too far down to overtake him. His jab at Trump about mass deportation is beneficial to Clinton.

Jeb may have benefitted from things he had notihng to do with: Kasich's weak performance, and Christie getting relegated to the JV debate when the big story was the main eight.

It means he remains the top establishment alternative to Rubio.

He is a bigot, and I think his boringness, gaffe-prone-ness, and last name would hurt him in the general election.

Not really. It was an acceptable performance but not riveting, very boring, and he'll likely stay stagnant in the polls.
