I think Cruz demolished Kasich there.

Kasich was obviously more correct by any sane account, but they were both unbelievably dumb. I can't believe we had to suffer through that.

Kasich was obviously correct but so woefully inept that noted televangelist Ted Cruz managed to destroy him through demagoguery.

I have turned off the debate because, you know, I can watch on youtube when its not lagging like sh**t. But I have to say, any Kasich vs. someone else exchange always ends up being won by the someone else. So I will guess that Darth Vader obliterated John Kasich.

Lol at people on this stage agreeing with bailouts

Kasich actually never called for bailouts. All he said was that the savings of the poorest savers should be redeemed, in good Christian faith, while more wealthier investors should not see all of their millions of dollars of savings be bailed out (which caused a huge uproar among the audience, because of course we have to bail out the richest of the richest, makes perfect sense lol).

Kasich had been doing well overall until he got hit by a Cruz missile.

The funny thing was the moderators announced it was Rubio's turn, but that didn't stop the Cruz missile from coming in and Kaisch pathetically trying to deflect.

Agreed.

We should let poor people lose all their money.

Haha, stupid poor people. Why don't they just buy more money?

Cruz easily. He was really on the attack with Kasich who looked like he was stuttering, weak, and having trouble figuring out what to say next. He showed Kasich can't think on his feet effectively.

Tell that to Jeb. Jeb can't think on his feet even if you personally dragged him onto his feet.

Jeb! always lacks that ! in energy so nothing unusual. I don't understand how it was a good idea for somebody like Jeb to attack, arguably, the best debater there last time.

I love how our site is always awful at telling how Kasich did.

When he won the most applause at the first debate, he won the debate. When he won the most boos at the last debate, he lost the debate.

Kasich was talking more sense than Cruz, which in this environment translates to Kasich losing big and Cruz winning big.

I guessed Kasich lost. Then I actually watched the exchange and had my prediction confirmed.

Yeah, I wonder why such blatant class discrimination would not be popular at a Republican debate? (Should lost and found prioritize poor peoples' items over those of the wealthy, in good Christian faith?)

Cruz was able to slip in the little "you said you don't believe in philosophy or principle, but what would you do?" and Kasich didn't catch it.
Then Kasich got booed out of the room.
The exchange only involved one question from Cruz, and then he stood back and let Kasich shoot himself in the foot.

This too

I have my issues with John Kasich, but overall I like him and think he's been a good Governor. What has Ted Cruz done? He claims to be a leader in the fight against things, though really no one takes him seriously outside of some fringe tea party supporters. He hasn't been FOR anything other than shutting down the government. He's not a leader, Kasich destroyed him.

I don't even remember Kasich participating in it. That's how much he sucks.

But some should be bailed out. So he does agree with the bailouts. He is basically saying help the banks or corporations to an extent.
Not banks, people banks defrauded of their savings.

Cruz hasn't done jack and he would be an awful president/leader.
But that doesn't change the fact that he's fire on stage and gave Kasich a beat down.
