Bush and Kasich are easy. #3 is tough. I went Trump, who managed to lose an exchange with Paul, which definitely hasn't happened in an earlier debate, but I don't think Trump was really seriously hurt tonight.

I think the three that lost the debate from the little I saw were Bush (from his insecurity), Fiorina (for her hateful rhetoric & persona) and Rand Paul (because his sober, annoying voice makes me fall asleep).

Trump I only saw speak once (except for the Fiorina interruption which was kind of epic), so I don't know if he did bad or great.

Bush and Kasich

I throw in Fiorina because she had been free falling.  And this performance not gonna help the situation.

Carson
He sounded so out of the loop. On the question about banks, I don't think he said the word 'bank' even once. Honestly, people will start waking up to the fact that he's a rambling non-politician with no details. See, this is where Trump has him cornered. Trump has turned remarkably vague statements into a fleshed out (albeit still impossible and irresponsible) platform. Carson needed to read up and be specific.

Fiorina
She didn't stand out, and Trump called her out too. Actually, she sounded less presidential than in the other debates, so this was a step back.

Kasich
He interrupted an awful lot. Often, it was merited, sometimes it looked dumb. I guess those in the focus groups like impossible pipe dreams like deporting 11 million people more than they like common sense interrupting. His spat with Trump was funny, but Trump definitely damaged him. Same goes for the battle with Cruz. While what Kasich was saying made sense, Cruz masterfully played the rhetoric to demolish Kasich.

Kasich. He reinforced the image that he is cranky, desperate, and gratingly behind the times politically. Kasich's entire rationale for running for President seems predicated on the fact that people still care what Republicans accomplished with Bill Clinton 20 years ago.

Fiorina. Very wooden and insincere. Did absolutely nothing to separate herself from the rest of the candidates beyond filling the role of token female Republican (to her credit, she is an improvement over Michele Bachmann). I think her 15 minutes are up.

Carson. Regularly disappeared from my memory throughout the debate, I honestly can't remember a single substantive thing he said (admittedly, I missed the closing statements). When the field winnows and candidates are expected to give two minute answers and respond to follow ups, he'll be the one damaged the worst. He's a lightweight, and it showed.
