Cruz isn't going to surge until Trump and Carson fade. By then, it might be too late. Rubio has basically locked the establishment up by now.

Cruz being the conservative frontrunner? Hell no! Trump and Carson, who together have the support of half the party, are not going to just magically go away. I don't feel them losing support at all.

Rubio, but I've always liked Cruz.

Rubio is going to be more realistic about what he can accomplish without a filibuster-proof Senate majority, so he will be a more successful president than Cruz.

Because asking for anything more than you are willing to accept is a terrible negotiating strategy. Roll Eyes

On the one side of the ring you have the Cuban whose parents fled Castro while he was in exile in Mexico.  On the other side you have the Cuban whose father fought for Castro and then fled before Castro took over.

Again, I'm not sure how different these two are ACTUALLY beyond Immigration and tone. And truthfully, I might rather have Cruz because the real difference between these two is intellect, I think he's incredibly intelligent (if in a Richard Nixon sort of sense) rather than Marco Rubio whose capacities I doubt (in way of George W. Bush).

Although I agree more with Cruz's position on sugar subsidies (at least on first glance or principle) I'm less likely to support the candidate that called net neutrality obamacare.
