Safe D. The only question is which Democrat. So far I've heard Assemblyman Luis Alejo mentioned. Also Panetta's son might run.

Alejo winning would increase the number of Latino Democrats in the House, so I'd prefer him as the top candidate in this district.

Talked to a few people here (latinos). Older people liked Leon Panetta, but if Panetta and Alejo are similar on the issues, they'd rather see a latino in the seat.
