Anyway, in the interview it really DOES sound like Trump just came up with "child molester" out of the blue when trying to think of some pathological disease. Trump is infamously unrehearsed when doing interviews - it's part of his schtick. He's not looking for an out. But yeah, this could very well hurt him.

What I do not understand is why Trump feels the need to go hard after Carson. Carson was gonna self-implode anyway. But I guess Trump really can't handle the idea of not leading in every poll around.

Between this video, and the strange Trump speech on the belt buckle stabbing incident, I just think Trump has gone bizarro.
Will it hurt Trump in the Rep nomination ?? ... I don't know, as crazy statements in this election seem to help candidates (oddly enough).
But in the general election, the Democratic party is going to have a field day with the production of TV commercials about all the wacky comments.
Result : The majority of Independents will undoubtedly vote for the Dem candidate.
