Stade de France
Rue de Charonne
Hostages taken in Bataclan, famous Parisian show place.

For what I've heard.

Putain.

2015 already shows worse than 1995.

Well, about Islamophobia, it's what creates the kind oh guys that can do it and rather not 'we're doing that cause you don't like Islam'.

And well, if you want concrete elements, France is the most active Western country to strike Islamists around the world after US: Syria, Iraq, Sahara/Sahel.

The Charles de Gaulle has been launched toward Syria recently, for the last concrete thing.

F**k, seems so f**king messy, listening to a witnessing on France Inter, in Batacllan the guys effectively shouted 'Allah akbar'.

100 of shootings sounds heard Rue de Charonne.

I have an hard time connecting to either BFM nor itélé...

I didn't see any news source tweet about 2 other attacks.

Following on France Inter, serious public radio, and so far they say nothing on more than the 4 first ones.

France Inter also says hostage taking is over in Bataclan.

The source seems to be Europe1 for Les Halles, well who knows, but if u want very fresh news during that kind of event the best uses to be BFM.

Hollande just spoke.

Yeah, emergency state all over the country, and yeah up to be define but hadn't happen since 2005 I'd say, nationwide riots in rough suburbs, on radio they say it hadn't happen since Algeria War, then maybe not the same kind.

He also says an other police operation is being led by police, maybe Les Halles.

Hollande has declared a state of emergency and has closed the French border.
What does that state of emergency in french legal framework means?
State of emergency gives authorities the power to:
  • Regulate or forbid circulation and gathering in some areas (including by the use of curfew),
  • Close places of gathering
  • Conduct house-to-house searches at any time without judicial oversight
  • Censorship
And using French military on french soil?
Yes - although the military were deployed before the State of Emergency was declared in this case.

Yes, several thousands already deployed all over territory since Charlie.

The 2 explosions close to Stade de France would be suicide bombers, maybe the 1st time in France if so.

All seems to have been very well coordinated, right in the same time apparently, nothing like all the pitiful attempts to attacks that we heard of during the last months, seems even better prepared than Charlie, looking like some 'pro' job.

Action still going on in Bataclan, but journalists can't tell what.

Allegedly there's a RAID (SWAT) team inbound.

Yeah apparently police is trying to give assault on 4 guys and one of them would have been killed, only itélé source though.

Nah, it's ok, thanks though, I'm far, on an Atlantic island, safe then. Smiley

And amongst French posters I knew, can't tell where they are now.

A guy in Bataclan would have shouted 'This is for Syria!'

5 subway lines are cut.

This might be ridiculous, but could this have any relation to the climate talks next week? Maybe some radical group that gets its money from illicit oil sales? Just a thought.

Thank u, u managed to make me smile...hmm...well...'u never know'.

One of shootings woould have been done from a car on the terrasse of the restaurant.

Also thoughts go out to the Syrian refugees fleeing terrorism, only to probably be blamed by the sensationalists for the crimes committed today.

Don't worry, we don't welcome them already, and they already knew they were not welcome here...

Nah, that are our good old maghrebis beloved guys that gonna take that in their faces, and well odds that it comes from them would be high enough, vicious circle...

This is the kind of thing that happens when you import millions of potential radicals into your homeland.

Not sure this is the right moment to make a debate, but in case that effectively comes from our beloved maghrebi guys, this is the kind of thing that happen when you import millions of cheap workers for your economy and you better chooose some uneducated ones and then maintain their future generations in contempt and under an hypocrite permanent racism.

You know.

Most French schools have Saturday morning lessons.

Most dunno, but some yeah, and universities are kinda always open usually.

curfew declared in Paris for the first time since 1944. French experts what are you estimates? are we going to see police\military storming immigrants suburbs tomorrow?

No, sorry, as I said earlier the last curfew was in 2005, nationwide riots in rough districts, it was still 'sane' compared to that...

Putain, police says 100 people dead in Bataclan.
