And no Sandernistas he's not Obama 2.0 and never will be, he's an old white Jewish guy who is only running to bring Clinton to the left. He isn't interested in winning, sorry to break that to ya.

Bernie is in it to win it. And the same was said about Obama supporters being obsessed with "the Messiah".

Socially awkward teenagers seem to form these creepy attachments to old white dudes every four years or so.  I'm guessing it's some sort of father complex thing, but that's just a theory.

Because for once we don't have a candidate bought by wall street and is establishing himself as the anti-wall street candidate which is very positively looked upon by most Americans, especially in this election cycle. What i want to know is why everyone is so obsessed with Clinton...shes not the most left wing candidate and will probably be Obama 2.0. I supported Clinton in 2008 against Obama because i thought she was ready to be president and that she would challenge the republicans more then Obama would. I was even happy to hear when she announced this year but her campaign and childish attacks against Sanders ave been dreadful.

Plenty of people are creepily obsessed with their candidate of choice. There are plenty of Republicans who seem to think that Rubio is an invulnerable, beautiful piece of divinity, now that he's the establishment front-runner.

Don't support him personally, but it's a lot of the same sentiment that's behind the Trump thing.
He's running a populist anti-establishment campaign revolving around a prevalent economic issue.

Sandernistas hate God, and need to fill the void in our lives.

Literally the same reason young people/Obama supporters were obsessed over him in 2008?

People are fed up with the extent to which powerful corporations control government and policy to their benefit at the expense of everyone else. So when most everyone else is ignoring that and someone comes along who is driven to correct that problem, they attract support.

Yeah, and specifically I think the Sandernistas/Paulistas/"Obamabots"/Hillaryites tend to like their candidates because their candidate doesn't fit the same profile as most other candidates; Bernie with his angry socialism, Ron Paul with his angry libertarianism/isolationism, Obama since he was also anti-war and because he was a very charismatic minority candidate, Hillary because of the idea that she's the US's Margaret Thatcher. Rubio gets a bit of that shine from his background and his perceived "only adult in the room" aura.

Geez, they were worse with Obama in 2008
