l have read a number of posts on Atlas suggesting that LePage is a contender for VP. The threads I have read suggested the ticket would either be Trump/LePage or Cruz/LePage. What does he bring to the ticket? I am from Maine, and can attest that LePage is not well-liked in the state. He has never received more than half of the vote (only winning a plurality in a three-way race); a ticket with LePage, regardless of the candidate, wouldn't receive Maine's 4 electoral votes (and even if they did, it's only 4 votes), and he has a history of making controversial comments similar to Trump?

It's unlikely, IMO. He would be a poor choice, as he would only solidify far right voters for the Republican candidate, and they'd be in no danger of losing conservatives in the first place.

I already made a thread, but a Trump/LePage ticket would be the most high energy ticket of all time.

He would be a good pick for Dr. Carson IMO.

He would be a terrible choice, but the Republicans aren't known for making good VP choices, so I guess it's a possibility.

I think he'd be a terrific pick for Trump.

I'd say he could do well with Christie, but a moderate has to go to a conservative veep, so that's unlikely. Maybe Trump too.

? Are you asserting LePage is a moderate? I wouldn't say so.

Trump/LePage would be hilarious.

A Cruz/Lepage ticket would be very interesting

Ted Cruz would ensure shoe polish companies stay in business so he has something to put in his hair.

Paul LePage would ensure Burger King would stay in business.
