A decent man but also a huge wiener.

HP as a person and political figure. He was a failure as a Labor Party leader and a failure as Prime Minister. He wasn't even 1/100th of the man Yitzhak Rabin was. His "Dirty Trick" was a disgrace to Israeli politics, his filp flopping on settlements and other issues was opportunist, and his personality comes off as extremely dickish.

I also place blame squarely on Peres' massive ego for the failure of the Peres-Hussein London Agreement.

By far one of my least favorite Israeli figures, from the Zionist parties at least, (Tzipi Livni is a somewhat distant second).

He is lucky Ehud Olmert and Levi Eshkol exist, otherwise I'd say Peres was my least favorite PM.
