I'm a conservative in the Bay Area and have no problems here - sure, it gets a little annoying at times, but nothing too bad.  I'm sure it's the same for liberals in Alabama.

Definitely freedomland, just as Memphis and San Francisco are.  FF.

Current ranking:  Memphis>SF>Birmingham.  All are, like Jesus, alright by me.

Ah yes, spent a week there once.

The weather's depressingly hot and rainy and it sprawls out like crazy, but that's made up for by the downtown, the hills and woods in the northeast, and the charming atmosphere.

On balance FC.
