Because "it is not his time." He's going "back" to a "Think Tank."

On policy he says "immigration" without "integration" is an "invasion." The three I's. Not bad as a campaign slogan. He has not given a "lot of thought" as to whom to endorse. But he or she needs to be "serious about radical Islam." He's reverting to "radical Islam" again, and again. We need to "kill them." Obama is weak on all of this.

And there you have it.

At long last. Wonder where his lack of support will go.

Perhaps if he gets a good head start, he can get to that think tank and hide inside it before his citizens can get their hands on him.

At long last. Wonder where his lack of support will go.

Actually his support in Iowa was not negligible. I think Cruz will lobby hard for them.

P.S.

@ppppolls

2nd choice of Jindal supporters (about 40) on our last Iowa poll: Carson 37, Cruz 22, Rubio 12

Maybe with the decrease in the # of candidates, the networks will dump the undercard debates?  Probably not if it's just Jindal, but I'll bet that another 1-3 candidates drop out within the next month.

In any case, this is why I respect Santorum in his longshot bid more than Jindal.  Because he FIGHTS!

If I were a betting person, I would've definitely lost money on his Iowa placing.

Maybe for Trump as he tries to figure out who will be the next target of his ridicule.

This is kinda surprising, I saw him as a potential dark horse for Iowa.

He was polling decently in Iowa and probably still had hope that he'd have a chance there.

Plus, like, what else does have to do with his time?  Govern Louisiana? Tongue

The alternative is to kick Paul, Kasich, and Fiorina out of the main debate.

Good riddance. I'm sure he's praying that Vitter wins the governorship and appoints him to the open seat, so he can go to washington and CHANGE it!

Or maybe he could be an administration guy in a conservative presidency.

We haven't heard the last from him.

He was once a rising star in the GOP and perhaps he will be elected to the U.S. Senate some day, or maybe he will work in a Rubio administration. I wish him all the best.

Same here. I thought he could pull it off. He was doing decently in Iowa (5-6%, I think).
