Along with ben-Gurion one of the most interesting and consequential leaders of Israel. Objectively kind of a failure in retrospect, who managed to destroy her parties long grip on power by patronising the Mizrahim. In addition her refusal to recognise the Palistinians as a people was arrogance that still haunts the nation to this day. And of course, the disaster of the YK war happened under her watch.

As most Labour Prime Ministers, she was a decent person (bar their generally terrible views on Mizrahim) but not such a good PM. I'll vote FF regardless.

who managed to destroy her parties long grip on power by patronising the Mizrahim.
In all fairness, this is by no means solely Golda Meir's fault.

As a Jew who would be classified as Mizrachi, I obviously have severe issues with her views on the Mizrahim, but I still think she was a very strong Prime Minister. The last Labor/Alignment/center-left leader I could see myself supporting.
