Sanders is too far left for this country, I'd rather vote for the raging Harpie over this loon.

Favorables don't mean much.  Look at how many on this site rag on Hillary but will step in line and vote for her to prevent a big bad Republican from being elected?

As far as his quote, what else is he going to say?  That he's less electable?

I don't see what the big deal is. What would you expect him to say, that he's a weaker candidate?

It's funny how Republicans talk about how he is a socialist and that's supposed to bad, but I don't hear them complaining about the leader of France.

Bernie Sanders looks like a nutty elderly professor.
At least Bernie hasn’t been seen in any serious relations with business elite. Love of Hillary with Wall Street is a well-known fact.

A. Why would Americans want to talk about other world leaders (except maybe Putin)
B. All of Europe is terrible.
C. France is always the worst.
D. We don't have to hate him since the French already do. http://qz.com/497500/francois-hollande-cant-shake-his-status-as-the-least-popular-president-in-french-history/
E. His foreign policy though

This is out of context. This is his arrogant campaign speaking, not him.

The most recent general election polls from Quinnipiac, McClatchy-Marist show Clinton and Sanders about equally competitive against the Republican candidates so this doesn't seem such a crazy statement. Also, Democrats' voter enthusiasm problem makes it a credible argument that ability to out the base is what amounts to a stronger candidate. If Trump or Cruz is nominee, they might win more alienated, anti-Washington voters against Clinton that they'd lose to Sanders.

I've said this before about Sanders and before that about Warren when everyone insisted they were unelectable, winning the primary is much, much harder than winning the general.

Minorities (which overwhelmingly support Clinton) are actually the lowest turnout demographic group.   Nominating Sanders might actually hurt the Democrats turnout-wise more than it helps.

They support her in a primary where they're unfamiliar with the other candidates. That's not a measure of how likely they are to turn out to support her compared with Sanders if he were the nominee and much better known. Presumably, anyone who is the nominee has already attracted significant support from minorities.

In the 2008 primaries, we kept hearing about what a big problem Obama had with Hispanics. And then they voted for him big time in the general election.

He's definitely more electable. The problem is that Clinton is more nominate-able.

Given that Castro bros endorsed Clinton already, and he trails in FL & NV primaries, its hard to make argument and win the crucial state of Colorado at presidential level.

This is a natl security election since Paris, SOS is preferable than Senator Sanders.

Sanders is a true believer in a massive Federal government.  He wants to tax the rich and the middle class to fund more social programs that give money to the underclass, so they can join the middle class.  And he wants to force employers to hire more women and minorities.  He is like Obama, but more extreme.
It would take 50 to 100 years to repair the damage done by back to back Obama and Sanders presidencies.

Guys, a one term black Senator from Chicago with a name that sounds like Osama isn't getting elected President.
