Obama won by pretty decent margins both times, though the GOP has had success statewide. What category do you think it falls into?

In the bag for Clinton as far as I can tell.

Trump will promise to do for Las Vegas what he did for Atlantic City.

Trump would probably fare poorly with Nevada Hispanics but put up really strong numbers among whites in Clark County.

The rich white Las Vegas types that Trump would "do well" with are people who probably already consistently show up and vote Republican.

Likely D. Unless Republicans improve their numbers with Hispanics (which Trump almost certainly won't) they stand little chance here. NV might be going the same way as NM.

Don't underestimate Trump here.  Nevada is won by winning the various unions, and Trump runs so much of the business in town that it's easy to imagine him pulling the right strings to get those endorsements.

He'll do better than Romney in 2012 that's for sure.

Actually Trump will do better in Reno and other parts of Northern Nevada. Perhaps around Clark County as well but any improvement among whites will be negated by the increased Hispanic AND Asian vote. People forget Las Vegas has a fairly large Asian population. Of course Clinton is a horrible candidate for Nevada and the west in general, which is why Trump will have an opportunity to improve. If Obama was running for a third term, he would curb stomp Trump across the west.

Won't Trump's business oriented campaign attract Asians? I doubt many of them care about his insults towards China.

Are you being serious? Asians will support the candidate who wants to round up one ethnic group and throw them out of the country and register another whole religious group? You think Asians are going to be fans of American fascism?

Tilt D. Trump might do a lot better in a GE than we expect.

I can see him consolidating enough white votes to counter the increased Latino vote. Trump might be a good candidate for Nevada whites.

I think Hillary would win in Nevada because of the Hispanic vote. Lean Clinton.

A toss-up. If Trump selects Brian Sandoval as VP, or is endorsed by Sandoval, his chances go up at winning the state. Nevada voted Democratic in 2008 and 2012, as did Colorado and Iowa, but all three states voted Republican in 2004. Additionally, on the state level, all of the states are trending Republican when it comes to electing state-level and local politicians. It is possible that NV, as well as CO and IA go for Trump, as they went for Bush in 2004.

I seriously doubt Sandpval would endorse Trump in any way except with lip service. Not a chance he would put his reputation on the line to campaign for Trump.

I think Trump would do worse in Nevada when compared to Mitt. Hispanic turnout will increase drastically, and Trump will obviously do horrible with them

Assuming that there is no economic meltdown and no bad international situation, Clinton wins big. Nevada is hyper-urban, and its demographics are beginning to look much like those of California.

Hillary Clinton could win Nevada while losing the Presidential election.

Lean Clinton, but Nevada will have a much different map than 2012 if Trump is the nominee, seeing as he'd appeal to some of those Las Vegas wealthy whites that went for Obama.

Solid Clinton. The battleground states in a Clinton-Trump race will be Arizona, Texas and Indiana.
