Pathetic call by CNN.  Just showing again that they're a corrupt, dishonest, joke of a network that has no business playing a serious role in American politics.  Just nauseating.  Rules mean nothing anymore.

I really hope Trump boycotts the debate.  Someone has to stand up and show that RULES MEAN SOMETHING!

What a hack network. The stage needs to winnow and they've blatantly intervened to preserve a candidate who has zero chance to win the nomination.

This is why the RNC needs to be in charge of setting the criteria for these debates, or there should be some sort of consistent, independent criteria across the networks, rather than letting the producers set it themselves.  Their motivation is to maximize viewership, not perform a public service, and that's why in December we still have nine candidates, including three (Kasich, Fiorina, Paul) who everyone agrees have zero shot at the nomination, on stage.  It makes it more entertaining because all three will tussle with Trump.  But it doesn't teach us anything about Trump's policies.

"Inclusiveness" is basically a shield word these days.  If you say it as your motivation, nobody can criticize you.

They should have given the Heisman trophy to all three candidates to be as inclusive as possible.
And they should let Hillary up on the stage as well.  After all, it's more inclusive.

The best I can figure is that they excluded their own earlier Iowa poll (in which Paul got 2%). Without that poll, Paul's average in the state comes to exactly 4%.

Why couldn't anyone else drop out between the next debates?

Clearly Rand's feefees were hurt so CNN had to go PC and build a safe space for Rand where he isn't a joke loser nepotist candidate.

I don't think anyone still being allowed on the main stage can be ruled out completely at this point. People need to remember that Santorum didn't reach double digits in IA until the final month before the contest.

Proposal: the Line of Jeb!

No one doing worse than him can debate.

In NH, Kasich and Christie are often out polling Jeb!.

I liked the idea CNN had, but raised to 4.5%. That way iCarly could not be there.
