Thank you Mr Speaker for opening this bill.

As I said in my speech yesterday we're facing an economic disaster across Atlasia. For the last 3 months everyone has focused on the con-con, we had about 2 months without jobs numbers and we're yet to hear anything about jobs numbers. As the GM said the economy is basically in an awful place.

This bill is expensive-I'm aware of that. Considering we're having to bailout 10+ states we've got a very hard job, and this current funding operates to keep us in a balanced budget-we've got 83 billion in cash reserves and 20 billion in a disaster fund-I'm open to expanding the bill basically.

I, personally, can't support a bill that cuts sales tax.

It's currently only 1% - which is very low, when compared to other countries. But, say someone did a £100 shop: it's currently 1% sales tax - which would add to make £101. Lowering it 0.75% would save them £0.25. I'm not sure that lowering sales tax would make much of a difference to the Northeast economy, whilst lowering our overall tax intake.

I'd support the rest of the act, however.

Yes.

I didn't weigh in much on this, but yeah, it looks like a good and detailed plan!

Abstain.

Don't support reducing sales tax, but support the rest.

The bill passed, 3-0-1 (abstention) with Rep. Evergreen not voting (IDK if it's still LOA)
