I'm pretty confident predicting Trump/Sanders.

I'm pretty confident predicting Trump/Sanders.

What is the profile of the typical Republican caucus voter in your precinct?  How did it go in 2012?

AFAIK my precinct technically didn't have any caucuses in 2012 and probably won't in 2016, there was simply a single caucus for the entire State House district as the Republicans do in most Minneapolis seats due to low voters in general. (The Democrats do it too, most counties had only county caucuses not precinct ones)

But it voted for Ron Paul. Which should also answer what the typical Republican voter here is like.

Paul/Sanders if they're both still in the race.

If the election were held today, I think it would be a pretty strong win for both Sanders and Carson. By the time election day rolls around though, I suspect Hillary will have a decent shot and Rubio would be a pretty good fit if Carson completely collapses.

Just for fun... the precinct where I live would probably be won by Bernie Sanders/Jimmy McMillan. Cheesy

My precinct in 2012 voted 390 for Obama, 33 for Romney, and 6 for third party candidates. The minuscule Pub contingent is pretty machine oriented, so I suspect Rubio will win over Trump. The persons of color plus working class whites will go for Hillary over Sanders, and they outvote the white gentry Sanders voters in my ward.

The active party enrollment is 456 Dem, 65 Pub, 23 Conservative, 2 Green, 7 Working Families, and 37 independents.

Just changed my voter registration back to Chicagoland as I prepare to move back after time in downstate Champaign-Urbana (where I voted in 2014).

Champaign is a college town and my precinct is an embodiment of this. It will vote solidly for Sanders on the Democratic side. On the Republican side, I am not really sure. Maybe Rubio? College Republicans seem to like him the most. Definitely not Trump.

The Chicagoland precinct is white-majority but seems to favor establishment and moderate candidates on both sides. I predict a Clinton and Rubio victory, but Sanders will have a showing on the Dem side. Maybe 60-30 Clinton.

No idea on the 'Pub side, but definitely Sanders on the Democratic side. I literally live across the street from FSU.
