This election has actually driven me to sanity. I've come to realize the kookiness of the Republican Party on every single subject.

Things are a lot... weirder than they were in 2012, yes.

I dunno. In 2012, people actually thought Romney could win a national election, which is plenty weird. It's not like anyone is saying Trump can win.

If the 2nd and 3rd debates had gone like the 1st one, he probably would have.

Jim Webb is incredibly low energy and couldn't garner more than 2% of the vote except in that one Gravis poll that had him at 13% post-debate LOL

There is not a hint of irony in my voice. I don't know about other people here.

It's funny how many people are convinced that the Trump supporters here are all just trolls.  Seems like a nice coping mechanism though.

I think some of them are legitimately trolling and some Democrats want Trump to be the nominee so there can be a Democratic landslide.

I'm far from a Trump supporter, but I'd say he would definitely have more chance of beating Clinton than pretty much any Republican other than Rubio.

I keep hoping that this is a bad dream that I will wake up from. Of course this election is draining our sanity.

yes, treat everyone supporting Trump like they must be "just trolling". That's exactly the same line of thinking of the establishment and the pundits that has made their candidates so successful so far, amirite?

It's rather difficult not to when they used to be Democrats and act as stereotypical as possible about it. Actual Trump supporters on this site, bar a few, don't act as ludicrous.
