The fact is that Trump is unable to discipline himself, suggests that he has no idea on how to engage on substantive issues. Being politically incorrect may have been his ticket to ride in winning those crucial primary votes. He however seems unable or is unwilling to pivot into a conventional General election candidate; his nostrums and wild swings suggests he has not woken up to the reality of his current position. His conduct to date, suggests a short shelf life and voters will arrive at the view that he (Trump) is not serious. Translation, Donald you are no Ronald Reagan and your 15 minutes are up!
