I've always thought America the Beautiful would be a better national anthem, despite the fact that it's less secular. Either that, or just pick a different verse from the Star-Spangled Banner.

Thought of another: the Battle Hymn of the Republic. Doesn't really address the issues of the current national anthem - it's very overtly Christian as well as pro-war - but much more catchy. Plus, nobody can accuse the Battle Hymn of the Republic as being pro-slavery.

It's a great song, but people don't need to psychologically prepare themselves to die before the Super Bowl.
As a Seahawks fan, I respectfully disagree.
