He seems to have always been a bigot, whether his forays into birthering, or wall building, or registering Muslims (presumably not at Macy's).  He's the latest iteration of the "Know-Nothings" or the Klan.  I guess he's "moderate" by fascist standards.

Having a real hard time understanding all the liberal quibbling about fascism. I'd think the collectivist sentiment embodied by the symbolic fasces would really pull at the ol' left-wing heartstrings.

Donald Trump is textbook example of a demagogue.

You might as well cite Obama's campaign as fascist because he ran on populism and nationialism. Or Bill Clinton. Most of our recent Presidential campaigns have centered around appeal to nationialism, almost an insane amount, and a certain level of populist angst.

What the f(R-Michigan)  are you people talking about.

Which presidential candidate, Democrat or Republican, has called for registering an entire group of people? I don't want to find out what Trump is capable of. The little twat needs to be crushed.

The mainstream media is now openly talking about Trump's fascist tendencies.

I do not think that Donald Trump is a fascist. Yeah, his silly racist statements sound everywhere. But these are simply words, not deeds. Trump is a simple showman. Even if he becomes the president (heaven forbid), he will never build the wall on the border with Mexico or send all the immigrants away. He is a chatterbox.

This isn't paranoia and ShadowyAbyss has a right to feel as he/she does. I'm the first person to support increased surveillance of suspected radicals, but I am against putting every person of a given faith into a database because there are radical elements of all faiths, I am not for punishing the majority of muslims who mind their own business and do not cause harm to anyone just because of a few radicals. Donald Trump is not a real American, nor are his fellow hate-mongers.

It's called red meat. It's not actually going to happen.
