Very sad, and heartbreaking for their parents and families. I generally don't mind if Western foreign fighters are killed, but this is clearly a different case, since these girls were only 15 when they left and let's face it, people do stupid things when they're 15. I still think it's weird that 15-year old kids can apparently just travel to another continent without parental permission, by the way.

Yeah, we all did stupid sh*t when we were 15 but I doubt any of us had the desire to join a modern day Waffen-SS. So ultimately my response to this is a big, fat "meh."
