Actually, this means that 89% of Republicans are so idiotic and/or partisan that they either cannot bring themselves to agree with anything Obama does whatsoever or that they simply cannot comprehend the act of pardoning a turkey as a symbolic gesture of holiday goodwill.

38% of Republicans disapprove of this?  Really?

These are the sorts of people who should be conscripted for the war effort.

Clearly only 11% realize they themselves could benefit from such a pardon.

Obama showed his true Muslim colors in pardoning Turkey.

Obama pardoned two turkeys instead of one because he couldn't make up his mind.  He's so indecisive!  No wonder we can't defeat ISIS.

Well, in fairness 51% of independents and 30% of Democrats didn't support or oppose either, indicating most of that share were "don't care" rather than a somewhat suspicious "not sure". Even 11% of Democrats opposed the decision (why? Huh).

Still.......

Maybe because it was Republicans who began the tradition.

True, but I imagine many Democrats think of Republicans when turkeys are mentioned.

In the sense that it makes light of offenders of capital punishment, then I can agree.
