And no, you don't have the option of voting third party, and you can't abstain from voting.

And also, how badly does Hillary beat Ted?  Show your maps!

Clinton. A vote for Cruz is a vote for America defaulting on its debt.

Arizona, Iowa, NE-2, Georgia, Colorado and North Carolina would be razor-thin. Missouri, Montana, Florida, and Ohio would have margins of under 5%.

(troll voice) Hillary wouldn't win Colorado

But seriously, Ted Cruz wouldn't win Iowa while losing Georgia. C'mon Wulfric.

But anyways, I'd vote for Hillary obviously and enthusiastically.

Iowa may be a rare state where being more conservative would help you, given its large evangelical population. As I said, it would be razor-thin.

Definitely Would vote Cruz. I don't want to sound like a hack but we shouldn't be predicting McCain level losses yet and underestimating him so much. He's an excellent strategist and we could see how effective a base turnout strategy could be(like 2004). Conventional wisdom may have it lean Hillary but such an election would be an excellent test as to whether a turn out the base strategy is more effective than go for the swing voters since the swing voters are declining every year.

Ted Cruz has no record of accomplishment, he's slick, he's an opportunist, he's a poor leader, and he's hypocritical. He also doesn't understand the immigration issue. But I would vote for him over Hillary Clinton. Hillary Clinton also has no record of accomplishment, she is scandalous, she's completely dishonest, and she is driven by polls and consultants as opposed to a sense of moral purpose. Barack Obama's economic and foreign policies have weakened our country, electing Hillary Clinton to continue these policies would be unpatriotic.

I would vote for Cruz.

I prefer a flawed person who is a Republican to a flawed person who is a Democrat.

This.  I might even vote for Cruz in the primaries, just to block Trump.

I have yet to see any compelling evidence that Cruz could make the race in any way competitive. He has no intention of appealing to moderates or minorities, and the "missing whites" aren't a thing to the extent that they would make up for the votes Cruz would lose at all.
