Does anybody have any small, local politicians that they could see making it big in the future, or becoming "rising stars" in their party in a couple of cycles? I'm thinking city council members, state house members, even school board people. I'll put new Seattle City Council member Lorena Gonzalez (not to be confused with the California State Representative of the same name) and Washington State Senator Pramila Jayapal for mine. I could definitely see either of them running for WA-7 and WA-9 respectively when the incumbents retire, and maybe for statewide office eventually.
