What minor politician do you hope makes it big?

I'm a big fan of Doug Owens here in Utah, I hope he wins in UT-04.

Salt Lake County Mayor Ben McAdams (another Democrat) is also someone who I think could go far, even in Utah.

In my birth state of Washington, I'm a big fan of Cyrus Habib, it'd be great if he became a Congressman or even US Senator.

Donald Trump's never won an election before, but I really hope he wins his first one, coming up soon

He's not exactly a "minor" politician though. Everyone knows his name and he has a better-than-zero chance of becoming president.

I hope Mike Lee makes it big.

...By which I mean Michael D Lee, the 2014 and hopefully 2016 Democratic nominee for Utah State House Seat 30, who normally goes by "Mike Lee". Very personable fellow, police officer, and strong Democrat. Barely lost in 2014 (30 or so votes), and should try again. Everyone in the Utah Democrats jokes that he's "our Mike Lee".
