Some people mat claim they are colorblind when they are merely weak on color differentiation. Color differentiation includes colorblindness, but also can involve other causes. Differentiation can be assessed with Farnsworth Munsell 100 hue test. Contrast that with the traditional Ishihara color blindness test.

7 on the Farnsworth-Munsell (probably could've scored lower if I'd spent more time on it), perfect on the Ishihara.
