For him, I'll say yes but I might be able to change my mind with enough proof.

I'm not sure about 'evil' but a pretty horrendous ruler. About the only thing good I can say is he was a far more intelligent and perceptive person than the idiot tyrant Nicholas or the Stalin/Trotsky duo.

I quite like the poll format, but yes, Lenin was evil. Not the evilest, but his anti-Kulak and anti-religion campaigns were ruthless and disgusting.

...pretty effectively sums up my thoughts here. "Evil" might not be the best term here (what does that even actually mean?), but there's not a whole lot to like.

FF. Hero for the proletariat. Magnificent writing and theory. Helped to lead the most democratic revolution of our time. Did the best with what he could in Russia considering the Civil War and the failure of the German Revolution. Just wish he threw out Stalin before it was too late.
