Which competitive states (i.e. not California or Texas) are must-wins for each party?

In my opinion:

Must-wins for Democrats: Nevada (if Democrats can't win here, they're done), Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin

Must-wins for Republicans: Florida, North Carolina, and Ohio

Tipping point/bellwether states: Colorado, Iowa, New Hampshire (though it tilts Democratic) and Virginia

An actual Republican must win the Republican primary.

In order from most needed to least needed.

Republicans: NC, FL, OH.
Democrats: MI, MN, WI, PA.

The following states are states that can be won or lost by either side (either because they're small in Electoral Votes, or because they're very close to tipping point status):

VA, NH, IA, CO, NV

I agree. noted RINO Jeb Bush, John Kasich, and Marco Rubio must be defeated so that Reagan Republican Donald Trump can lead the party to victory!

Without Florida, there's actaully no realistic path for the GOP to the magic 270 EVs.

If Republicans lose Florida, they need a near-sweep of the remaining swing states. Losing Ohio or North Carolina would also be huge blows. Democrats have a more flexible path.

The GOP needs PA if they lose FL. But I don't see Republicans winning PA while losing FL.
