Isnt the Republican Party to the right of Likud on most issues. I do oppose Likud as Bibi is acting more like Dick Cheney when it comes to foreign policy then Ronald Reagan.

I wouldn't use the term "liberal", as it doesn't really apply to an Israeli context (and I wouldn't necessarily disagree with Likud becoming more liberal on some social issues), but yes, my views on Israel and Zionism are both more complicated (in a philosophical sense; though it isn't very hard for a philosophy to be more complicated than Netanyahu's...) and significantly more right-wing than Likud's.

I like his temperament. He's almost invariably upbeat and optimistic - and almost never mean. On the happiness scale, he is in the top percentile on this forum.
