It is sad to see it come to this, but it is a step that I feel must be taken. Atlasia is in an activity crisis. We cannot have a Speaker who contributes to the problem. Bills have been left open on the floor for debate for much longer than has been needed, bringing the Assembly to a standstill. That is why I introduced this legislation and I hope my fellow representatives will join me in making the Northeast Assembly great again.

As this is a busy time of year, I understand why RGN is unable to be as active as we would like. But DKrol is right, we need active leadership here. I will abstain on this bill when it comes up for a vote.

I implore the assembly to wait a day, then elect a new speaker.

I would suggest we wait until Friday (when the next term starts) - as there's no point in electing a new speaker, only to have to do the election again on Friday, as per the requirements in SOAP.
