Suppose it depends on where in the world you are. I'm a fan of Amazon Prime but I think Netflix has the better choice in the USA.

Netflix is the best, but Hulu has the Criterion Collection.

As far as series go, I haven't seen anything from Hulu. Amazon's The Man in the High Castle is pretty decent. Netflix is the run away winner, though.

Amazon has:

Transparent
that Philip K. Dick show which is interesting in theory but actually kinda sucks
Catastrophe, which they didn't make, they just own the rights to it in the US

Hulu has:

The Hotwives
Difficult People
Casual
