I don't read The Sun - but I think it's fitting to see how the mighty have fallen

Answers 2, 4 (if you don't take it too literally), and 5 all apply. Voted option 5.

I would have thought that the Sun 'reading' (used for want of a better word) public could care less and are more interested in the back pages, agony aunts and of course page 3, after all as Bernard said, IIRC, of Sun readers, "[They] don't care who runs the country, as long as she's got big tits."

This would be mildly homoerotic if I wasn't a real man

I would love to see Bush in a similar 'fallen' condition.

And you make fun of me for liking strip clubs...

I've always wondered if you have to be 18 to buy the Sun. I know that when I was under 18 if I could I would definately buy it.

As for the pictures: who cares?

No. It classes as a "newspaper"... somehow... the Star is even worse.

Now if only we had it over here!

Of course it's pretty soft though, SI Swimsuit Edition isn't really much different, and I had plenty of those...

BILD, with their typical hypocrisy, had it on the cover the following day - with the headline"Wirbel um Skandal-Fotos".

Does this constitute a violation of Saddam's human rights?

Frankly, those who violate the human rights of others (i.e. Saddam) forfeit their right to human rights - it's as simple as that

I'm no Bush fan - but I don't think that GWB and Saddam Hussein are even remotely comparable

I would have liked to see Bush fall in November  - but it, sadly, it didn't happen

Yes, it doubtlessly does.
Not a very grave one perhaps, though.

There are much much more important things for people on all sides of the spectrum to care about than Saddam's human rights.

Now, it is a fact of nature that British tabloids are the boils of humanity, the most pustulent of which being that rag called "The Guardian".  It is only the British tabloids' nature to show front page pic of Saddam wearing his Low-Hanging-Fruit of the Loom

What I really fault is the US military taking the picture in the first place. It seems really juvenile and un-American

Thank you, I really hope no one loses sleep over pictures of a mass murderer in his underwear being published in a newspaper.
