Link.

The defense will appeal the misdemeanor conviction. The judge determined he's not at risk of flight so he's a free man.

I'm curious, how does a Floridian have such strong opinions on Mr. Blankenship?

My family is from West Virginia. I'm literally the first generation not from WV. My great-grandfather worked in the mines and my grandpa worked for the companies (but not in the mines themselves). I'm as pro-coal as they come, but Blakenship was reckless.
