If there is a desire to turn this into a full bill, I would be fine with that.

I struggled with whether or not such would be considered appropriate but I decided to roll with the obvious Adam related reference.

I have never had a problem with citizens participating in debates provided they were productive. Of course this past year, others have taken a more exclusive tone, which has been rather shocking to me.

I realize my good friend Ebowed has a thing for open borders, considering his actions as President. However, I am concerned that the language here might tie our hands. Whilst I agree we should not be closing our borders completely, on the other hand we should have security enough to ensure that no one from ISIS can get in and I would rather not surrender the inevitable of a building blowing up for the sake of the feel good bravado of left-wing talking points.

If you are member of ISIS, our borders should be closed to you. If you are a hard working, honest guy, you can enter through a process. Either way, I have always preferred a regulated door and opposed the alternative.

The combination of the my additions and the second listed item about non-discrimation would eventually prevent a Trump style ban on muslims.

However, I must remind people this is just a resolution at present, though that can of course be changed.

In my interpretation it would consist of providing resources, including information on connections that the individuals have to terror groups, and of course the targetting of the the network of support.

We could be a bit more specific on spelling out the resources to be utilized, if we are worried about the President abusing the provision.

I thank the Senate for passing this common sense measure. Smiley
