Whoa! A Gallup poll?!? Not quite a poll, I guess, but it's still interesting to see.

Gallup has chickened out and never does direct head to head polls anymore.

Lol, no. Bernie isn't being engaged by the GOP smear machine ... if it happens, he'll be toast.

You do know that someone opposing Hillary doesn't immediately become Obama 2.0? This isn't 2008.

True, it isn't 2008. Hillary's favorables are much worse now.

Lol - I don't hate Sanders, at all. Good to know that's the limit of your political analysis - good or bad. In the end, I respect the guy.

I don't think most of the pro-Hillary Democrats on here hate Sanders. They just know that he's an overly idealistic dope living in a fantasy world.

Truthfully I like Bernie Sanders a lot: he's bringing to light a very important issue (income inequality) and he's been a very positive influence in the Senate. He was very committed to reforming the VA when there was something wrong with it, and worked with Republicans to get solid reform through. Sanders is very capable as a Senator - it's why he's so popular in Vermont. He's way better than Warren in every sense because he isn't just grandstanding for liberals, he's trying to get through substantive accomplishments.

Sadly, I think Hagrid is right on about his presidential campaign - overly idealistic. I like that he's brought people into the political process, but I dislike their deification of him. Because of that thinking, they ignore the the real barricades of the system and the facts of the world because THEY know Bernie is going to make it. It's true shame it's turned out that way because, to me, he's one of the best Senators on the Democratic side.

Sum up: I like Bernie, I don't like a large chunk of his supporters.
