     I am ambivalent about this. There was an actual point to it that was sort of glossed over when President Griffin brought it up. At the same time, the actual point just wasn't that important.

     Traditionally, as-needed appointments for court purposes have not counted as an office. I don't know if any precedent exists on this matter, though.

I can only speak for myself, but I personally love citizen participation in these threads. The more activity, the better!

     I also welcome input from the citizenry. The worst thing the Senate can do is fall out of touch with those who we serve.
