Presidential Survivor (ROUND 27)

James K. Polk is the latest of our U.S. Presidents to be voted off this island.   And with his departure,  I want to congratulate the Presidents who are still on the island because they have made the sweet 16.   We have 16 presidents left on the island as we come to the home stretch of this game.   

And before we get started in this round, I just want to say one thing.   We've had some controversy in this game.   And there is no way that everyone was going to be happy with what was decided.   But I just want to compliment Wildcard on the outstanding job he's done in picking up this game.   I gave up running it because it got to be too much for  me.   And I wouldn't have let him take over my game if I wasn't sure he wouldn't do a great job in running it, being firm with his decisions, and being fair to all sides.    Anyways, he's done a great job in picking up the ball and running with it after I turned the game over to him back in Round 20.   So great job, Wildcard.

And with that being said, on to round 27.    It's time to vote.   And yes, voting does end at midnight, eastern time.  That rule has not changed nor will it change till the end of the game.

There are a number of presidents still in this game that really shouldn't be, thanks to previous partisan battles.  Van Buren, Coolidge, and Hoover would all be good choices, though Reagan does worry me in the long term.

I'm going to go with Hoover this round.
