Personally this is my first election cycle, I am currently working in LuAnn Bennett's campaign, and Sanders' campaign. What about the rest of you guys?

Yes I have worked for Richard Tisei, Scott Brown, Charlie Baker, Mitt Romney, bunch of local officials and I am currently working for Cruz every weekend. My parents were also volunteers for Pitchfork Pat and Reagan when they were young and my grandma was a Goldwater Girl.

The US is too generous with their political campaigns.

I've volunteered with Labour about 3 months before the general election which was hectic, I was in a swing seat we lost by 130 votes on polling day and that was crazy. I worked on Andy Burnham's leadership campaign in the Summer, and spend a fair bit of time with the Head of the London campaign for that.

Canvassed for the VVD in the 2012 election. Was pretty weird, since I was already fairly sure I wouldn't vote for them at that point. But they needed to become bigger than the PvdA anyway, so it was a good thing.

Yes, several. Statewide, congressional, countywide, municipal.

My favorite one to brag about, obviously:

Yes, I worked as an intern on a critical Congressional campaign in 2012 (we lost), was Deputy Campaign Manager on a Mayors race in Delray Beach, and have also helped out the Ron Paul, and later, Gary Johnson campaigns in 2012.

I currently intern for a consulting firm in Tallahassee that is highly respected. I obviously won't name it, but I can spare a few details if anyone is interested enough in PM'ing me.

I was (technically still am?) an intern for the Michigan Republican Party office in Detroit and I went into their office about once a week between the first week of this semester and about the end of October. Hated the work. After they asked me to gather signatures, I opted to not show up for work. Still paranoid they'll call me up one day demanding that I show up.

Ugh, petitions are dreadful. Especially when you file them. I did that from March-July, '12, four hours a day after school, five days a week. When I filed the last one I made every staffer and the candidate himself gather around the computer and put the finger on the mouse to click save. It was one of the better moments of the campaign, because the real work began soon after.

^ Adam's county, Whitfield, had the strongest swing against Deal in 2014, and Louisiana was one of six states that swung to Obama 2012.

Yep. I occasionally canvas for the Clinton campaign - haven't done much while school's been in session, though.

Yes, the NDP campaign in my seat in October.

I suppose I can take some proudness in the fact it was a close NDP hold against a Liberal landslide.

Yeah, I was head of strategy for the Workers Party of North Korea last election. Our message was a resounding success.

Yes. In summer 2010 I marched in a few parades for Adam Kinzinger with my cousin who is now on his staff in the old 11th district against Debbie Halvorson. We marched in a few small towns in Bureau County and in Ottawa, Illinois. The heat was oppressive. I've also over the past few weeks been gathering signatures for him to appear on the ballot.

Did about 100 hours of combined phonebanking and canvassing for Paul Davis (He still lost the county), 6 hours of canvassing for a city council candidate (Lost by 70 votes), 30 hours of canvassing for Charles Jenney for state house (Lost BIG), 8 hours of canvassing for Brandon Whipple for state house (He won a Romney district by 10 points!), 30 hours or so for Bernie Sanders, 2 hours standing on a street corner with a sign on election night 2012 for Carolyn Bridges (Won that won lol), and 2 hours for Helene Laverdiere in Montreal (barely won).
