I usually make my coffee at home.  When I get it from outside, it's probably Starbucks most often, but sometimes it's Caribou, and occasionally it's from somewhere else.

Other - local roaster/coffeehouse where the beans/teas are fresh. Best espressos I have ever had. And of course there are regular customers, so you get to know people and even the owners, who are awesome people.

I'd like to add that in addition to the plutocratic amount I spend on the venti bold from Starbucks, I do have 3 cups at home with Mrs. Grumps in at 6:00AM

I'm surprised by how elitist and out of touch most users on atlas are.  It's a well known fact that America runs on Dunkin'

Impressive.

Starting this year, the boy's bus comes at 7:37, and they have been fairly prompt so far.  If we arise by 7, it's okay, but every minute's rest after that causes us to have to rush.  Luckily, my winter reprieve started a week ago, and my son's will start in about a week.

When I need a fast cup to go, I stop at his dentist's office, about 500 meters from my house, and brew myself one for free.  They have a little Keurig fast coffeemaker and some decent cups.  Lately, he always has Green Mountain Wicked Winter K-Cup.  If I'm not in this neighborhood, I stop at Wells-Fargo bank on Manor Avenue, or the one on Fruitville Pike.  Those two places also always have free, fresh-brewed K-cup coffees as well.  And so far neither of those places have bounced me for just coming in and getting a cup of coffee.

As I understand it, if we stay in this school district, we'll be up at 6ish in a few years.  Thank goodness for coffee, for the Ethiopians who discovered it, for the Arabs who popularized its usage, and for the French and Spanish colonizers and their African slaves who painstakingly cultivated it in the Americans for you and me to enjoy.

Well Dunkin' Donuts doesn't exist in Australia and Starbucks is pretty uncommon, so I just go for a cafe/homebrew.

Coffee is for old people or young people that want to pose as old people.

I remember you mentioning your habit of mooching coffee from banks over our martini lunch, but damn man, a dentist office?  Isn't the coffee you have at home and the copious amounts you drink in your office sufficient?  Smiley

LOL. Best post I've seen around here in a long time, angus. Grin

I've heard some coffee stories before, but that takes it.

When the boy's bus comes at 6:30 to 6:40, our good friend angus is going to be between a sh**t and a sweat, as the dentist office and banks won't be open when he rides by.  RIP angus.  Cry

My Keurig because it's way cheaper than buying coffee every day.

This. Brand-wise, I prefer McDonalds and so do most people I've spoken to.

Local place when I'm at home, Starbucks or this one hipster place when I'm at school. I get other things at Dunkin (New Englander, literally normal) but not coffee.

*cough* Pete's *cough*. I don't usually drink coffee, but when I do, it must be from Pete's. Otherwise I get Jeb Bushy.

I don't usually drink coffee, but when I do it's from home. Starbucks and DD are both horrible places.
