Susana Martinez's drunken attempt to stop the cops that were called on her

Long story short: Governor Martinez hosted a holiday party for her staff in the ballroom of a swanky Santa Fe hotel.  She and six others (including her disabled sister, as she later told the dispatcher) went up to a room for an after party.  At around 4 am, after apparently being warned by hotel staff about the noise and for allegedly throwing bottles off a balcony, the staff called the cops to have them escorted out.

Martinez found out about the call and confronted the front desk, making the same girl call the cops back and put Martinez on the phone.  She then proceeded to try and drunkenly persuade the dispatcher to call off the cops from their "pizza party" and interrogate them as to who made the original complaint.

Needless to say, after shaking off the hangover, she has apologized.

She definitely sounds drunk (not that I care, she's a grown woman). I have an issue with the fact that she was using her position to try to call off the cops and find out the name/location of the hotel guest who complained.

She also threw out the "my disabled sister is in the room" card. Ugh.

As someone who's had DPD on my front lawn during the middle of a party and been the guy to negotiate with them, I have to ask where her Risk Management was. I understand that this was the after-party after all of the unwashed masses had left, but she's obviously partying with some reckless personalities if they're throwing beer bottles. Those're the types of people who don't participate in house cleanups and who, in general, let your chapter go to sh#t. Gonna have to bring the bottle breaker to judicial board at the next chapter meeting.
