If your definition of the North Texas area is the top five rows of counties, then it voted 80.9%-18.7% Bush. If it's the top four, it voted 81.3%-18.3% Bush.

EDIT: Unless of course you mean the northern half of Texas, which I am way too lazy to do. I also voted wrong accidentally.

I'd have to say Utah.

It is easier to win a relatively small state than it is to win particular counties in a state that are overwhelmingly for one party.

The demographics of Utah may change enough some day to give the Democrats a shot at winning there.

I say may, although I doubt it.

There needs to be a neither choice. Because these are not going to happen any time soon. I think Utah will go sooner, but not unless something happens to the RNC.
