I've decided to bring back this old idea I found from Eraserhead and Phony Moderate.

Nominate three members for each of the following awards (for the Rivalry of the Year award, nominate three sets of rivals). You may not nominate yourself for any award. The five members with the most nominations for each award shall go into the winner's round. Nominations will close at 5PM EST on the 29th.

Intentionally, definitely Crabcake. Unintentionally, Computer09.

Literally everything Lief posts in the 2016 board is delightful.

Bushie seems like the obvious answer.

5. Most Enthusiastic Poster of the Year?

darthebearnc, possibly jfern (basically the more dedicated Sanders supporters)

6. Most Cynical Poster of the Year?

Other than Dr. Cynic, Cathcon.

7. Angriest Poster of the Year?

CCSF, maybe Antonio

8. Rivalry of the Year?**

Politicus vs. Gustaf, but BRTD vs. Gully and Snowstalker vs. Oakvale are also hilarious.

9. Best newbie?***

Is TimTurner new this year? Definitely him if he is.

10. Poster with the best alternative timeline/s?****

DC Al Fine's is my favorite right now. I also Cranberry/Harry Truman's TL.

11. Hack of the Year?

DeadPrez, dudeabides. Lief as well, but in a positive way.

Joe Republic's descent from the mod team deserves a mention. But probably Mr. Morden for the title.

On ATL, International General Discussion is my favorite to read, even though I rarely post. On AAD, definitely National Elections (TRUMPMANIA, low energy loser library, Bernie Cultist watch, etc.)

Oakvale has generally been the best with Trump related analysis. Al for the UK. Politicus for everywhere else.

Thanks for the mentions of me. I appreciate it. I am putting up this post however, merely to note that Dave Leips has never been angry in my experience. He's always calm, sometimes almost preternaturally so given the circumstances. When things go awry, it does sadden and concern him, but it does not anger him.
