I know both the terms "Democratic Socialist" and "Tea Party" are kind of limiting, but I'm curious to see which faction of each party people prefer more over the other in a relative sense. I'm sure that there are some libertarians in the GOP who identify as part of the Establishment, but it seems that most (e.g. Paulites) like the Tea Party.

Since when is there a Socialist wing of the dems?

since there were people in the democratic party who advocated the introduction of socialism

I think it's funny when people claim to be part of a certain ideological group and then assert their own narrow subjective definition of it in order to seem exclusive

Yeah, I remember a post on AAD (not sure by who), saying that establishment vs. anti-establishment is lazy analysis, and I would agree with that. Webb and Sanders could both be characterized as 'anti-establishment,' despite having very different politics.

Well, no it's a fairly broad definition.

Socialism: The social ownership of the means of production.

Republican "establishment", which are more accurately described as "mainstream conservatives" rather than "establishment" or "moderate".

Since at least the Depression, and it's gotten stronger over the last few years.

Yeah, because there's only a dichotomy in each party, and the natural alternative to the Democratic establishment is socialism.

Sanders is the only one talking about socialism, but plenty of people advocate a progressive line of thinking as opposed to the Democratic establishment. I think that's what you meant, correct?

Establishment Democrat. I really have no qualms with the left wing of the party and my views are probably to the left of the establishment generally, but I definitely identify more with the Gillibrand/Murray/Wyden wing of the party than the Sanders/Warren wing.

Why not give anti-establishment choices from both ideological sides in each party. Like, Republican anti-establishment: Left, or Democratic anti-establishment: Right?

I sympathize with the Tea Party, but there are issues where I simply cannot agree with them (immigration, refugees, and foreign policy). I agree with them on the economy, though.
