This poll is based off the TIME Magazine "Person of the Year" award. The idea is to select the individual, or group of individuals, who had the biggest effect on Atlasia this year. Influence can be measured in negative as well as positive accomplishments (for example, the runner-up for TIME's award was the head of ISIS), with the only requirement being that the person or group in question significantly shaped Atlasia in 2015. You may vote for as many candidates as you like; voting will last for one week (7 days).

A New Start
The Radical Dissolutionist party attracted many of Atlasia's most distinguished members and nearly brought about the dissolution of the national government before it collapsed following the events of Bloody July. Its members lived on, inspiring the Radical Movement that has helped frame the national dialogue over the last five months.

President Bore
Following his landslide election in February, Bore enjoyed enormous popularity during his first term, but struggled to address the inactivity crisis that dominated his last months in office.

Representative Clyde
The eloquent leader of the Northeast National Party inspired legions of his fellow citizens to join his quest for independence. While his separatist campaign fell short of victory, he raised awareness for Regional autonomy that has greatly influenced the Constitutional Convention

President Adam Griffin
Griffin successfully overcame past controversies and a resurgent right to win the presidency in October, casting himself as the only man who could successfully defeat the Radicals and lead the Constitutional Convention to a successful conclusion. His proposed plan of reforms: Consolidation, Bicameralism, and the Statute Reboot - has been a blueprint for the ConCon.

Game Moderator Kalwejt
The "crazy Pole" of Nyman was one of the most active - and controversial - GMs in recent history, confronting Nyman with everything from terrorist plots to separatists to nuclear war. After resigning from office last summer, he won a four-way special election to the Senate, where he formed part of the Reform Coalition that organized the Constitutional Convention

Governor Leinad
Arguably the most successful newbie of 2015, Leinad survived accusations of sock-puppetry and the fervent opposition of the Radical caucus to become Governor of the South and one of the leading members of the Constitutional Convention.

The Reformers
A patchwork alliance of elder statesmen and insurgent populists, socialists and libertarians, pragmatists and visionaries, they survived the trials of Bloody July to lead the successful push for the ConCon and have now set their sights on an even more ambitious goal: remaking Atlasia as we know it.

President Lumine Von Reuental
By the time announced his departure from the political scene late this year, Lumine had led Atlasia as its 35th President, formed a new political party, challenged the infant Labor majority in the Mideast, returned to the Senate, served (briefly) as Deputy Secretary of State, and attended the ConCon as one of five Senatorial delegates.

Senator North Carolina Yankee
The South's "Comeback Kid" was largely counted out after he and his party suffered a humiliating defeat in the February elections. Instead, he fought his way back into the Senate and engineered the resurgence of the Federalist Party, and now marshals Atlasia's first conservative Senate majority in years.

Write in: The status quo.

Atlasia's tradition conciliatory conservatism and mindless bureaucratic leftism has doubled in strength this year. The status quo is firmly in control. That was the most influential concept in 2015.

I think the most influential group were the Reformers because they've led the country in to what's now inevitable reform. There will be major changes to the game now (baring a rejection by the voters), which will shape Atlasia for the foreseeable future.

Atlasia's tradition conciliatory conservatism and mindless bureaucratic leftism has doubled in strength this year. The status quo is firmly in control. That was the most influential concept in 2015.

Says the man who voted in a 7-3 Liberal Supermajority just when a Conservative President was arriving in office, removing any ability to thwart so-called bureacratic leftism. We basically might as well have had a Labor President, since Lumine was in a no win position with no veto threat anymore. Since then it has been Laborite Presidents with at most 6 Conservative Senate seats save for a short time in late August/September.

July rekt the Atlasian status quo that came to power in late 2014/early 2015 with the rise of the IRC faction and their dominance of the game.

It is actually our second outright majority. The first was from JoMCar's narrow victory in the August special until Rpryor was defeated and Maxwell held on with 1 vote victory thanks to (in his words) "undemocratic practices" in October.

Previously, there was a nominal majority in Duke's Second term with 4 Feds and 1 DR combined with Cincy's tiebreaker. And it was a great majority and a very productive one. It had some of the best legislation ever, that came from some of the finest schools ever... lol couldn't resist! Lots of stuff that Riley is white washing out of existence to fuel his narrative.

Even though it's not a good/bad award, but an award of influence, I suppose it's an accomplishment of mine to have more votes than someone who was President for a longer share of 2015 than I was a citizen.

Anyway, it should probably be Adam. I mean, successful tenure as RG, banned, came back, was literally the 3rd person to imitate Trump while campaigning and/or have "Make Atlasia Great Again" as a slogan, but still used that to beat the 1st person to use that slogan to become President.

Of all the individual people (group awards are so cop-out-y...at least it wasn't "You") that's pretty hard to beat.

(Also, you totally shouldn't nominated yourself. Successful newspaper, Mideast Speakership, and more recently time as Senator and ConCon PO after Cris--another possible nominee.)
