Now that we're in the season itself, time to put this up...since the early Home Alone ones are pretty much a staple of Christmas it seems.

So, then...which one shall it be? I'll just say right now, I don't expect anyone to actually put Opt. 4.

Anyway, I'll go with the original.

TRUMP and the big, beautiful PLAZA HOTEL on Central Park South steal the show in the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York.  In fact, I would like to see Home Alone 2 recut to make it about Trump and the Plaza Hotel.

I like the first three the best and I try to watch them all by the end of January. 1 and 2 are Christmas movie, I got 2 in my VCR, but I try to watch 3 in January since it's a snow movie.

Anyways I like 3 the best too. I always liked Alex Lenz more than Culkin (who was always a brat and a jerk imo. He got better in movies when he got older but when he was younger he was annoying,) and I connected with him more. I always like 3's mom more as an actress and she was a babe. The lead villain,  Mr Jernagen (who was hilarious and steals the show when he's on,) and the girl terrorist (her haircut sucked though, she was way hotter with long hair,) were good villains. Only weak villain was the David Schwimmer rip off. I'm with Moderate. The climax and the battle was well done. Some of the traps were really viscous though. The electrocutions were priceless and that lawnmower gag would have killed Unger easily. You have to use dis-belief here lol. Plus you get a young Scarlett Johansen too which is never bad.

1 was the first I saw as a baby or so when it came on NBC. It's good but being limited to the house kind of dags it. 2 was better in the fact it's in a whole city, plus it had better actors. Tim Curry was a hoot and so was Brenda Fricker. But it lost some of the heart that the first one had without Roberts Blossom.

4 and 5 flat out suck and should be avoided even if Malcom Mcdowell is in 5.

Proof that Democrats are obsessed with Trump.

Ever since I was young, I've always thought Home Alone 2 was the best. (I'm pretty sure I already mentioned that in another topic here.) Now, I remember the scene on the WTC as one of the most memorable of any movie.

Fwiw, I've never seen, nor do I intend to ever see, 4 or 5 (or anything thereafter).

2 is definitely the best. I do love 3 though. I'm happily surprised to see all the 3 fans on here! I too laugh uncontrollably at parts of it, something I don't really do in the first one.
