Nope, that's in the( last I checked) canon 3d cartoon series. The series is surprisingly good and I strongly recommend watching it.

Okay, I watched it for the first time last night, and here's my thoughts: JJ Abrams and Harrison Ford probably came to some agreement to write Han out of the movie for all but small scenes a la glowing-ghost-Obi-Wan from the original series. However, if Harrison Ford decides "hey, that was a lot of fun. I'll stick around and do a couple more scenes." Abrams would figure out some way that Han managed to survive everything and bring him back.
