American liberals: Canada, join us so we can have sane policy!
Canada: No, we're not going to join the US until you guys have sane policy!

The vicious circle continues.

Didn't Canada just have three terms of Stephen Harper?

They'll grow to love him just like we did - these numbers are surprisingly close to what his numbers looked like here when he entered the race.

20 Ontario
13 Quebec
8 British Columbia
7 Alberta
4 Manitoba and Saskatchewan
3 each of the Maritimes

68 EVs if each province became a State and no US state loses EVs

Trump might be able to bring Alberta into his camp, but that would still be a net 54 EVs to overcome for Trump.

"Approve or disapprove" of him doing what?  What kind of amateur hour is this?  You can "approve" of how a politician is doing their job, but when you poll a person, it's polling if people have a favorable opinion of them, not whether they "approve" of them.

It's not as if either candidate has been campaigning there, and what are Hillary's Canadian numbers? In any case, my comment wasn't meant as Trump would easily get Alberta, but that it is the only Canadian state he could hope could be brought to see the merits of bad barbering.

If he got the same numbers as Romney (which is very generous to Trump):

Mestizo: 65% x 27% = 17.55%
Amerindian (other): 17.5% x 38% = 6.65%
White: 16.5% x 59% = 9.735%

So, Romney would have earned around 33.935% of the vote in Mexico. It would have been his fourth-worst result, after D.C., Hawaii, and Vermont.

Yeah Alberta, like the rest of the Canadian provinces, would be a safe Dem state.

For about 50 years, then the GOP would win a crushing victory and the Democrats would never elect anyone from there ever again Because Alberta.

Well the difference is that American parties are nationalized, whereas in Canada, with the exception of the NDP, the provincial parties are separate from their federal equivalents.  It allows for unique party systems to form in each province, whereas the American system causes state parties to conform to the national parties, with some lag.

Yes, I'm aware of the differences between national parties and provincial parties (frex the BC 'Liberals'). I was just referring to the Alberta dynasties.
