(e.g. if it was Austria, would you choose Vienna?  Or Innsbruck?)

That choice at least should be obvious Tongue

Seattle seems nice to me. Both weather and politics are similar to Amsterdam's, so it shouldn't be too hard to get used to it...

The Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles. I was going to retire there - until I found that there really did exist on this mortal coil a Shining City on a Hill - elsewhere. Went to a fantastic New Year's eve party at the Red Dot bar last night, and it was a three block walk away from my abode, so I could drink whatever the F I wanted, when I wanted. Now, if only I could teach partner Dan how to dance!

If it's Pennsylvania, then Philly. (I could've ended up moving to Pittsburgh at one point as a child, but I'd rather the City of Brotherly Love.)

Hmm. Savannah seems cool, but northeast Georgia is beautiful with the mountains...

Somewhere in northeast Georgia.

Somewhere in SoCal, maybe LA.  (Orange or Ventura County would be nice, too.)

Ann Arbor of course. I tend to be happiest in heavily Democratic zip codes. Tongue  Not all of them, of course, but many of them. Actually, they would tend to be on both tails of the bell curve.

I was wondering where that was exactly. Now I know. Smiley

Skippy poo me (unless of course your answer is that you would pick Hudson, in which case responding to this is mandatory). Oh, by the way, Hudson puts the lie to the perception out there by some that gays tend to be misogynists. Hudson, where gays have a huge influence, and considerable power (nobody would think with messing with us ever),  is now basically run by women, when it comes to its governance. They have all of the most important levers of power in their hands.

For RFayette: San Francisco, either in the Columbus Avenue area or the Mission District.
